this was a first for me - newly born babies, one girl and one boy, still so tiny and so new. so amazing to see and capture these moments - i love that part!
crossman babies
these two babies are, likely, still traumatized by the session earlier today - I am hoping that they will forgive me for all the moving and positioning and dressing them up that we tried to do to get a few shots of them! that aside, they are both terribly cute and fun to photograph!
baby paxton
mom and dad braved the snowy conditions to make their way to my placce for a session with their new 4 week old son, Paxton. Although he only slept for a few moments, he was calm and content and a great little photo subject!
sunday sessions
i had three sessions today to share with you. the first was brand new baby anna and her mom and dad. she is a real cutie who did so well for being awake the entire session.
the second was Erin's maternity session - she brought along her little man to be in a few big brother shots!
and the last session was another mom-to-be, Nadine. the baby's big brother was also in a few of the shots and even did a little reading to the baby!

it's a boy!
my friends just welcomed baby levi (boy#3) into their family this past week. i went to see him yesterday and he is an angel. couldn't help but think, as cliche as it sounds, how much my boy has changed in 5 short months. from being a tiny curled up little eatting - sleeping baby to a little guy who smiles and talks (squeals, actually) and is starting to play with things like exersaucers and jolly jumpers. my, how they change!

this sweet little boy did not enjoy the whole photo experience too much today ... but you would hardly know it! we captured some nice shots of this little 2 week old with his mom and dad!
shared care moms group
had a great day today - the group of moms who were in my shared care maternity group met today - post baby! it was our first meeting with all the babies and moms and we were able to share birth stories and tales of life with a new baby. we were also able to get some pictures of the little ones! how fun! we did another session with baby logan and family - this time with dad!

he was the first newborn (other than mine) i have photographed since my maternity leave and he was such a good little guy. this is a two part session with some shots with daddy happening on the weekend but here is a peek at todays shoot.
