we had another great evening with which to photograph an outdoor family session. with the forecast calling for snow later in the week, the outdoor photo season will be ending soon and I was thankful that we were able to make this work.
I have been photographing this adorable family since their little peach was still in mommy's tummy ... and now she is going to be a big sister in the new year! so sweet!

st. albert fall family sessions 2009
after having to cancel these sessions a couple of weeks ago, we were pleasantly surprised with a gorgeous make-up day. here are a few shots of the four families that were able to make it out today.

somehow, amongst the crazy, unseasonably cooler weather we have been having, we managed to have a beautiful evening last night in which to capture these families and their beautiful little girls. oh, how i wish we could have more of these. i am just not ready for the cooler temperatures, the shorter days, the crumby roads and all that comes along with it. anyway, enough complaining - here are some shots from last night!
fall family sessions - part 1
Friday night and saturday were a success but, unfortunately, we had to reschedule today's sessions. Friday night was beautiful with gorgeous evening lighting and saturday was cooler but with overcast skies that made the shooting a little easier. i hope to be able to see the families that missed out on today's session another time this month, but for now here are a few highlights from fall family session - part 1!

Fall sessions 2009
despite a slow start, I am starting to accept bookings for the fall season and return the emails in my inbox. oh, where does the time go!
i am offering the Fall Family Mini Sessions again this year and have added St. Albert as a new location. The Leduc session will take place at the Civic Centre, the Edmonton session at Hawrelak Park and the St. Albert session will be near St. Albert place.
i will only be accepting a limited number of private sessions due to family and work commitments so i do encourage those families who are interested in getting photos done to take advantage of the mini session weekend. if you are interested, send me an email (sandra@photosbysandra.ca) with your location and time preference and i will get back to you as soon as possible.

after waiting out the rainy day, we had what turned out to be a beautiful evening down in the ravine for this family shoot. i guess it's like they say, if you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes!
